Zone conosciute per uno shopping di tendenza nella capitale sono Myfair, South Kensington e Chelsea, ma è bene aggiungere anche la rinascita di Hackney, con i suoi numerosi atelier di giovani designer e negozi alla moda.
Suggerimento: Se ami la moda ed il design e ti piace fare shopping, o anche solo scuriosare, tra le boutique e le gallerie del centro, il ‘Dover Street Market’ di Myfair (non per tutte le tasche!) vale certo una visita.

LONDRA ARTE
Tutti sappiamo che la maggior parte dei musei di Londra sono gratis, le piccole gallerie si stanno moltiplicando un po’ in tutte le zone della città e gli architetti ci offrono un museo a cielo aperto, quindi le occasioni per farsi una scorpacciata di buona arte senza spendere un centesimo non mancano davvero.
Suggerimento: Per gli amanti della fotografia il mese di ottobre è un vero paradiso, con scatti di centinaia di fotografi esposti in vari luoghi dell’East End in occasione del Photomonth.

LONDON FASHION & DESIGN
Areas known for a trendy shopping in the Capital are Myfair, South Kensigton and Chelsea, but we should also add the rebirth of Hackney, with its many ateliers of young designers and fashion shops.
Tip: If you like fashion and design and you enjoy going shopping in the center or just watching boutiques and galleries, the ‘Dover Street Market’ in Mayfair (not affordable for everyone!) is worth a visit.

LONDON ART
We all know that most of the museums in London are free, small galleries are opening in every corner and architects offer us an open air museum, so, there are loads of occasions for stuffing oneself with good art.
Tip: For all photography lovers October is a heaven, with pictures from hundreds photographers exhibited in many East London venues in occasion of the Photomonth.

Answer English was recently nominated for the Star New Agency award at the industry awards ceremony.  Amanda and James as you can see below dressed up for the occasion.  Although we didn’t win (this year) we came in the top 4.  We will be back another year!

Amanda, our top Student Advisor, is organising the September Social Event for Answer English students. If you are free on Saturday 27 September it would be great to see you at The Monarch Pub in Camden for a night of live music. In collaboration with Play it by Ear you can enjoy 3 bands including A Human, Mama Shamone and My Toys like me for £5.

Are you looking for work experience in an enivronment where you will given true responsibility? Answer English is currently seeking an intern to join our Client Services team. We are not just looking for anybody. We take internships very seriously.

The Purpose of our Intern roles:

• To gain work experience in a British working environment (London W1)
• To learn new skills linked to career, coursework or other educational activities.
• To improve Business English skills (spoken and written)

Answer English makes the commitment to:

• To seek to structure work to achieve the specific objectives of the intern and provide feedback on performance
• To identify projects that will complement other educational or career activities (requires detailed input from Intern)
• To provide personal Coaching to the Intern (half day per month) to enhance projects, coursework, work experience and future career (requires detailed input from Intern)
