This exciting Summer Vacation course is designed for teenagers aged 13 - 17 years who want to improve their English, make friends, explore London and enjoy exciting sports and social activities. This is the ‘Rolls Royce’ of summer courses and parents can sleep safe knowing that their children are having the time of their lives.
Aimed at: Young students of 13 – 17 years looking for the summer of a lifetime in London. If you are looking to learn English, make friends, explore London and enjoy exciting sports (such as swimming, football, volleyball…) plus join in lots of fun social activities all in safe environment, then this is the course for you. There is no minimum level of English necessary.
Benefits of Doing this Course: The Junior Explore London English course includes everything the students could possibly want: 15 hours English tuition per week with enthusiastic, professional teachers, 2 half days of sports & activities, 3 half day excursions in central London, 1 full day excursion outside London and 1 full day excursion in London.
All travel & admissions on excursions are included. As are 7 evening activities per week, Free Internet connection, Welcome pack & diary, Student identity card, Entry test & induction and Safe deposit & Student bank.
Accommodation is included in the course fees. The students will stay in a university residence in North West London, in zone 4 on the Underground (about 35 minutes from the centre). The residence offers single rooms arranged in apartments of 6 bedrooms with a communal room for relaxing. It’s located in 4 storey blocks grouped around a grassed area and the site is fenced & security patrolled. Boys and Girls are separated.
An early 20th century house at the heart of the residence is used for evening activities such as disco nights, fun competitions, international events, fancy dress competitions and cinema nights. A self service launderette on site with small charge is included. The meals are taken at the college where students have lessons. The meals are high quality & well balanced to provide a healthy diet. An evening snack is eaten in the apartments. London – Muswell Hill staff live on site and there is both security & welfare support 24 hours a day.
Methodology: The lessons are given by carefully chosen, trained teachers. All language skills, project & diary work and preparation for excursions are included. The lessons are combined with Fun activities to help young students to learn easily.

- Course Start Dates: 29/06, 06/07, 13/07, 20/07, 27/07.
- Bank Holidays: 01/01, 10/04, 13/04, 04/05, 25/05, 31/08, 25/12 and 28/12. In weeks with a Bank Holiday Monday, courses begin on the following day. Lessons are not recouped for bank holidays. The school will be closed between the 21/12/09 and the 03/01/10.
- Minimum Course Length: 2 weeks
- Included in the course fees: placement & progress tests, london maps, student handbook, student card, first day sightseeing / induction walk, free internet & Wi-Fi access, loan of DVD/ audio / printed materials, individual meetings with teachers, some social activities, end of course report (8 weeks+), end of course certificate. Not included: Learning materials Fee, Examination Fees, Some social activities.
- Total weekly course time: 15 hours. This course meets the minimum 15 hour requirement for Visa Students.
